“A” Day
We are having our annual canned goods drive in collaboration with the Rotary Club. Collections are in the Vocational Main Entrance or the Vocational Homerooms. Our goal is 3000 cans and to help serve those in need that live in Medford.
The MHS Art Club will be holding a gingerbread cookie bake sale after school Friday, December 11th, and Monday, December 14th. You can decorate your cookie to your heart’s content.
Attention basketball fans: the Medford High Boys Varsity Basketball Team has been selected to play in the Good Sports Invitational at the Boston Garden. The game is Sunday, January 24th vs. Arlington Catholic. Tickets are $15 and are available in the Main Office or you can see Mr. Skerry. Go Mustangs!
This is a call for entries for the MHS and Vocational second annual juried photography exhibit. Photographers may enter up to 5 photographs for judging. Pick up your entry forms in the art room A203. The deadline to submit is Tuesday, December 22.
The MHS Key Club will be holding their annual night of holiday caroling at local houses in Medford on the evening of December 22nd from 4 to 8 pm. If you would like to sing, and earn 5 hours of community service, or if you would like the Key Club to visit your house, please contact Mr. Wilson in room C107.
People need your messages of hope! TODAY is the last day Amnesty is collecting messages for different human rights victims in the cafés. Your support matters!
Attention MHS – the Foreign Language Club will be sponsoring another holiday Kodak moment on Tuesday and Wednesday. Come and get your picture taken and get it back as a holiday card!
Next week Interact will be working on preparing a special generosity project called the Hope Chest. The project is designed to let students in Medford help students and families stay warm and feel supported this winter. Please come by C315 Tuesday anytime between 2:30 and 3:30 to help out. This will be a working meeting and students who attend will receive community service hours.

Transcript request forms must be passed in to Guidance counselors by this coming Monday for all seniors with a January 1st college deadline.
