“E” Day

TODAY we will be following an Extended Advisory schedule.

Attention spring athletes: tryouts begin on March 21st. All candidates need an updated permission slip and physical on file in the Nurse’s Office.

Tickets are on sale for the March 11 Mr. MHS Pageant during both lunches in the cafeterias. Tickets are $10 during lunch, and $12 at the door.

Who is the best rapper at Medford High? Come find out March 10th in the Lobby at Amnesty International’s Rap Battle. Sign up TODAY. Fill out a worksheet in any Café or Ms. Ross’ room, C212. See Ms. Ross for any further questions. Teacher and students welcome!

The 12th Annual Belle of the Ball, sponsored by Anton’s Cleaners, is fast approaching. If you or someone you know is in need of a dress for prom, please visit your Guidance or Adjustment Counselor before TOMORROW so that he/she can refer you to this awesome program.

Attention seniors: there are scholarships available in 1st floor Guidance. The deadlines are fast approaching, so stop in TODAY!

Poetry Club will meet TODAY at 2:20 in Mr. Heinegg’s room.

Gaming Club will be meeting TOMORROW at 2:30 in C217.

Hey, sophomores! We’ve got news! Semi tickets are on sale again for $40, and if you want ‘em, we’ve got ‘em! TODAY is the last day to get one!

Congratulations to the Medford High School Model UN delegation on winning numerous awards last Friday at the Invitational Simulation held at Northeastern University. Among the awards given to our delegation were a best delegate and best public speaker award.

The Indian Club is having a henna event TOMORROW and Thursday right after school in Ms. Khan’s room C312. Prices vary based on the henna design and you can bring your own design. Food and drinks will be at the event as well.

ELL English MCAS Academy will be meeting every day except TODAY this week. The test is just 2 weeks away so come get some extra practice any day you can.

Sign-up sheets are out for this year’s 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. It’s $10 a team to play and $1 at the door to watch. Teams need to consist of 3-5 players. Each team can only have on varsity player and one faculty member. Sign-up sheets are available in B309 with Mr. Wilson or C315 with Ms. Saulnier. Brackets fill up quick so get your team together, pick a team name, a school appropriate team song, and be sure your sign-up is in by Friday.

There will be a mandatory meeting of everyone participating in the Spirit Assembly TODAY after school in C115. We will be doing a complete run-through of the assembly. If you cannot attend this meeting, you must speak with Ms. Donlon or one of the Student Council officers prior to the end of the day.

The Anime Club will meet TODAY in V210 at 2:30. Please join us!
