In our efforts to engage as many people as possible in our community, the Medford Public Schools has added an additional tool of communication, “The MPS Advantage” blog. The new blog will supplement what the Medford Public Schools already does to communicate with the public via press statements and social media, including Facebook and Twitter.
The blog will be maintained by Lisa Evangelista, Public Information Officer and Allison Goldsberry, Webmaster for the Medford Public Schools and City of Medford. It will feature school-based stories, facts and statistics about the schools, and interviews with students, faculty, administration, School Committee members and staff. The blog will also highlight outstanding alumni.
The blog will be regularly updated and is an informal and more conversational style of communication. It also provides another avenue for residents to connect with their school community. Those interested in accessing the blog can do so at www.mpsadvantage.education.
The MPS Advantage blog will continue to promote the benefits of the Medford Public Schools as a full service school system that deals with the human development of the whole child. Our schools offer a safe, inclusive, diverse and supportive learning environment that helps to produce healthy, intelligent, capable citizens who can attain good jobs and positive family living.
