“C” Day
Attention seniors: there are several scholarships with deadlines for mid to late April. Please stop by the Guidance Office for more information about these scholarships and to apply!
One Medford Day will be celebrated TOMORROW, and we are encouraging everyone to wear their Medford Strong T-Shirts to school. T-Shirts are still being sold in the High School and Vocational Main Offices.
A Lifeguard course will be offered at the Medford High School Pool during the week of April vacation. Any student interested in taking the course should see Ms. Perry as soon as possible. We are hiring guards and locker room attendants for the Medford High School Pool, Tufts Pool and Wright’s Pond – see Ms. Perry if you are interested.
Auditions for the Multicultural Show will be Wednesday and Thursday. If you are interested, please sign-up outside of Mr. Bartolanzo’s room C313.
Attention students traveling to Italy next week: there is a mandatory meeting with your group leader/chaperone on Wednesday, after school at 2:30 in Ms. Chalifoux’s room, C303. All students traveling must attend. It will be brief.
The Asian Club will be holding a raffle to benefit Rosie’s Place on Thursday, April 10th. Raffle tickets will be available at room C209 during the day and at the entrance to the period 6 Odaiko Assembly. The winner of the entertainment basket prize will be drawn at the assembly. $1 for one chance, or $5 for six chances.
The Anime Club will meet today in V210 after school. Please join us!
This week, receive community service hours by joining in the Diversity Week grand finale TOMORROW in Café 1 from 2:45-4:00.
There will be a short meeting for students interested in facilitating and MCing at this week’s World Café after school TODAY.
Do you want to save a life? Then sign up for the Key Club Blood Drive sponsored by the Red Cross in C117 with Mr. Wilson. The Blood Drive will be held on May 1st in the gym from 8:00-1:00. If you are interested, please visit room C117 to see if you could qualify to donate. All faculty and students over the age of 16 could be eligible.
The Chess Club will meet in Mr. Kain’s room, C109, after school TODAY.
On April 25th at 2:30, a World Café sponsored by Team Medford and FHAO: Choosing to Participate will be held in Café 1. The open discussion will be about student stress and strategies to cope with it. This event is open to all MHS students, faculty members, and community members. There will be free snacks for participants.
