Congratulations to violist Laura Schmidt for being accepted by audition to the prestigious Massachusetts Music Educators Association Northeast District Senior Festival!
A sophomore at Medford High School, Laura was selected to perform in the MMEA Northeast District Orchestra. She will rehearse and perform under guest conductors with other students from across northeastern Massachusetts at the festival concert at Lowell High School on January 10, 2015.
Based on her superior score, Laura has also been invited to audition for the Massachusetts All-State Festival Orchestra.
