“D” Day

Didn’t get a SENIOR shirt and want one? You’re in luck! Another order will be placed for shirts before the end of the month. Please see Mrs. LeClair in C314 as soon as possible to place your order.

THANKSGIVING DAY FOOTBALL tickets are on sale in the main office… $5 for adults and $3 for students.

The Medford school store is now open Monday – Friday during 5th and 6th periods, and Monday – Thursday after school until 2:45.

“Movember” Fact of the Day – Did you know that more than 1/3 of adults in the United States are obese?

Medford Night 3 will be Friday, November 28th from 7pm-12am at John Brewer’s Tavern. The MHS Alumni Association will be presenting awards to Officer Bill Mazaka and Sra. Lepore starting at 7:45, and will be selling raffles to support the MHSAA.

Attention sophomores: See your guidance counselor if you’d like to apply for the HOBY Leadership Seminar. This is a great experience to develop leadership skills and work with other students around the state to make a difference for others through service. Applications are available in guidance and are due TOMORROW. See your guidance counselor this week for more information. It’s a wonderful experience to attend this seminar at Bentley University!

The Long Bridge Shelter residents are in desperate need of help. Things such as winter coats, hats, gloves, socks are needed as well as toiletries. Please donate items to the Main Office. If you have any questions, contact Domonique Wood.

Attention juniors: Tufts is offering three exciting internships in the areas of engineering education, food justice and equity, and immigrant experiences in schools. They will last January through May, and the deadline to apply is December 5th. Any interested students should see their guidance counselor for more information.

Give thanks for a little and you will find a lot. All Interact members, old and new, please come to our meeting today after school in C315, Ms. Saulnier’s room. We are packing tokens of thanks for all of MHS and need all the help we can get!

Attention all seniors who sold pies: you can pick up pies TODAY in B210, the school store!

Amnesty International will meet after school TODAY in room C312. We will be planning Human Rights Week. All are welcome.

The Yankee Candles are in and orders can be picked up immediately after school TODAY, in the school store classroom B210. If you have a large order please plan accordingly.

Any student who had a portrait or ID retake, please pick them up in your assistant principal’s office. Grades 9 and 11 see Mrs. King, and grades 10 and 12 see Mrs. Johnson.

All volunteers from the track team and softball team should report to Coach Dempsey at 9am behind City Hall for assignments at the Jingle Bell 5k Run on Saturday morning. Any other volunteers are welcome and will receive community service hours. Any questions see Coach Dempsey in the media center in the library.

Attention all homeroom advisors: we will be voting for our “Movember” Mustache Champion. Each homeroom will vote as a whole. Return the ballots to the Main Office!
