Who should attend?
Parents/Guardians of students who may require guardianship and financial supports after high school.
Parents/guardians will learn about financial planning and the process of applying for Guardianship and steps they can take to prepare for the future of dependents with special needs.
Presenters will be:
Annette M. Hines, Esq. –Annette M. Hines has been practicing in the areas of Special Needs, Elder Law and Estate Planning for over fifteen years. She is a founding partner of Special Needs Law Group of Massachusetts, PC. Her clients include individuals and families of children with special needs, the elderly and others in the community. Being the mother of a disabled child has fueled her dedication and passion for delivering compassionate and effective special needs planning and advocacy.
John F. Raycroft – Special Needs Planner, John (Jack) Raycroft leads the efforts of the Special Needs Planning team at MassMutual Northern New England. His work helps families effectively prepare for the time when they will not be present, or able, to care for their dependents with special needs. Through workshops and consultations he presents on the issues critical to successful special needs planning. As the father of a child with special needs, Jack brings a special understanding and passion to his practice.
