“F” Day

This year’s March Madness Basketball tournament continues throughout this week in the Cooper Gym. Round 2 will be THURSDAY and Round 3 will be part of our Spirit Assembly on Friday. Refreshments will be available. Fans and spectators pay $1 at the door to watch. Let the madness begin!

Get your Green on! Roots and Shoots and the Garden Club will be meeting together TOMORROW after school in room C119. New members are always welcome and community service hours are available. See Mr. Tuden or Ms. Beaulieu with any questions.

There will be a meeting this Thursday for all those interested in Rowing, outside the Fitness Center at 2:30.

Anime Club will meet TODAY in V210 at 2:30. We will take our yearbook picture TODAY so come on by!

Everyone participating in the Spirit Assembly should come to C115 immediately after school TODAY.

Seniors: How has your experience at MHS/MVTHS influenced your future plans and goals? Answer this question and you could earn a $500 scholarship from the Medford High School Alumni Association! Junior and senior girls: If you are in need of assistance in paying for a prom dress, see your Guidance counselor for information about the Belle of the Ball program no later than this Friday.

Attention sophomores and juniors: We’re holding an SAT/ACT Practice Test Next Wednesday, March 18th (an early release day) from 1-4:30. This test is great practice and will help you decide which test, the SAT or ACT, is right for you. Space is limited, so register NOW! Registration ends this Friday! See Ms. Bazile in the first floor Guidance Office between 7:30am and 3pm to register. The cost is $10, payable by cash or money order. You could even win a free test prep course by taking this practice test. Register now!

This Thursday a fundraiser will be held for the Krystle Campbell Peace Garden. This garden will be located in Medford Square in front of the Senior Center and will honor Krystle and other victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. Details about the fundraiser are available on the city website.

There is a part-time phone operator job available. If you are interested, please see Ms. Bazile for more information!

There is a girls chorus Rehearsal TONIGHT at 6:30.

TODAY there will be a meeting for the Ethics Bowl afterschool in Mr. Esner’s room. See you there!
