“B” Day

Attention seniors: Do NOT forget to look through the scholarship bin in the Guidance office. The deadlines are quickly approaching!

The Day of Silence is almost here! If you’d like to purchase a Day of Silence T-shirt, please see Ms. Chalifoux before TOMORROW. All T-shirts cost $20 and no orders may be placed without the money. The last day to place your order is TOMORROW.

Come learn coping skills to manage stress and anxiety with adjustment counselors Ms. Prichard and Ms. Schulman. The group will run every Wednesday for 6 weeks, from 2:30-3:10pm, beginning April 29th. Any students interested in learning more about this group should contact their guidance counselor for more information.

The first annual rock, paper, scissor tournament is TODAY in Mr. Cullen’s room, C321, right after school. Registration is free at the door and closes at 2:45. The winner of the tournament will receive a trophy.

Want to join the MHS Band? Drum-line auditions will be held next Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, April 6th, 7th, & 8th. If you would like to join, or if you play electric bass or guitar, please see Mrs. Rello in A125.

Just a reminder: The guidance department will be meeting with all students over the next 3 weeks to help with the course selection process. Please see your counselor or wellness teacher if you have questions.

Applications are now being accepted for the Summer Recreation Program. Positions available are lifeguards, bathhouse attendants and park instructors. If you are interested you may get an application from the Athletic Office or the Main Office or download one here. Applications are due by April 29th.

Are you looking to make a change in the world? Come join Social Awareness: Choosing to Participate Club with Ms. Liu in C209. Anyone and everyone can join. Please stop by a meeting TODAY or TOMORROW!

Reminder, Asian Club meeting TOMORROW in C209 at 2:20; please be prompt.

The Fashion Society will be holding a mandatory meeting for all designers and models in A203 TODAY afterschool. If you have any questions, please ask any of the presidents of the club.

MHS and MVTHS faculty and staff who are parents of small children: there is an “In the Weeds” support group meeting in C310 TODAY during first lunch. We will meet every first and third Wednesday of the month. Please feel free to grab lunch and join us anytime.

TODAY is the last day to purchase items from the Mixed Bags Fundraiser for SkillsUSA. Orders can be placed in the Vocational Office or online.

SkillsUSA will continue selling raffle tickets through TODAY in the Vocational Office. Raffles are 1 for $1 or 6 for $5.
