“C” Day

Attention seniors: Do NOT forget to look through the scholarship bin in the guidance office. The deadlines are
quickly approaching!

Want to join the MHS Band? Drum-line auditions are this coming Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. If you would like to join, or if you play electric bass or guitar, please see Mrs. Rello in A125.

Just a reminder: the guidance department will be meeting with all students over the next couple of weeks to help with the course selection process. Please see your counselor or wellness teacher if you have questions.

Applications are now being accepted for the Summer Recreation Program. Positions available are lifeguards, bathhouse attendants and park instructors. If you are interested you may get an application from the Athletic Office or the Main Office or download one here. Applications are due by April 29th.

The junior fundraiser, “Home and Family,” is underway with an eclectic mix of household, sports, entertainment, and summer items. Anyone interested in looking at a brochure should ask a junior, or get a catalog in the library. Juniors are reminded that the goal is for every member of the class to participate. All forms are due on or before TOMORROW to the high school library or vocational school office.

All students going on the Ecuador trip- e will have our final meeting TODAY at 2:40 in room C111. All paperwork (both sides of the green and blue forms) will be due at this time.

Hey MHS, Earth Week is coming! This year it’s May 18-22nd. Buy your t-shirts now for only $15. They are sold in all cafeterias and in B305. Orders are due by April vacation.

The Center for Citizenship and Social Responsibility is hosting a poetry challenge for students in MHS grades 9-12. The winner will receive a $250 award and the runner up will get a $100 award for their poem on selected topics that deal with social responsibility and citizenship. There is an informational meeting in the MHS Library TODAY at 2:45.

The Main Office is holding a raffle for Kid’s Corner. Tickets are $1. Buy one now!

TONIGHT is opening night of Medford High School’s production of Guys and Dolls at 7:30. Tickets can be bought at the door. Do not miss our chance to see you classmates shine on stage!

Attention Tibetan Club, Arabic Club, and Indian Club: members of the three should plan to meet TODAY in Ms. McIntyre’s room, B217, after school to debrief about the multi-cultural show and to divide the proceeds.

The GSA will be meeting TODAY afterschool in Mr. Skorker’s room C201!

Interact crew- come by to register online for the polar plunge this Saturday. Sophomores and juniors- do not forget to get your RYLA applications completed and turned in by TOMORROW. Seniors, get down to guidance to start working on the Rotary scholarship applications and essays.
