“C” Day

PSAT registration for sophomores will take place now until Friday in the Guidance Office. The cost is $15 cash or money order; do not miss this opportunity! All juniors are already signed up!

Attention MHS/MVTHS: the Mustang Mall is now OPEN! It is located across from room B218, Ms. Dunphy’s room, and is open during 2nd period, 1st lunch, and 5th & 6th periods. Please stop by!

Raso’s is currently looking for dining room bus boy or girl staff members. There is no experience necessary, and if you are interested please stop by Mr. Klein’s Office in second floor Guidance for more information.

Attention all orchestra students: evening rehearsals begin this Thursday, 6:30-8:30, in the Orchestra room.

Seniors, do not forget to turn in your #C3Day letter of interest forms to your homeroom adviser by TOMORROW. Space is limited so submit your form TODAY! College, Career, or Community Service – which will you choose?

The Fitness Center will be open for students and staff Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 2:30-4:30.

Volunteer and receive community service hours at the 17th Annual Samaritans’ 5K Run/Walk for Suicide Prevention this Saturday at DCR’s Artesani Park in Brighton. All of the proceeds generated from the 5K stay right here in Massachusetts and fund life-saving services, including our 24/7 helplines, community education and outreach, and grief support services for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. See Mr. Klein in 2nd floor Guidance to sign up.

The Indian Club is having a meeting TODAY in C312 after school.

Any athletes or club members that want to march in the parade on Sunday should see Mr. Galusi before Sunday!

The Mustangs of the Fells initial meeting and first adventure will be on Thursday at 2:30 in Mr. Tower’s room, C211. All those interested in getting involved outside should attend.

Any student interested in traveling to Cuba or Puerto Rico in April should attend a meeting at 2:30 TOMORROW in room C103. Please see Senora Lepore if you can’t attend but you are interested.

There will be a mandatory meeting for all DC trip participants TODAY in room C212 at 2:30. See Ms. Ross with any questions.

Lifetouch will be here Thursday for portraits and ID’s. All students and faculty will have ID’s taken. Students will go to the theatre during their English classes. If you would like to purchase a portrait package but did not receive an order form at home, they are available in the Main Office and both Assistant Principals’ Offices. In order to purchase a portrait package, you MUST have your order form and payment on picture day. Any questions, see Mrs. King.

Bus passes for October will be on sale TOMORROW and Friday. They will also be on sale next week on Monday, the 28th and Tuesday, the 29th. Do not miss your chance to pick up an October bus pass!

Driver education classes begin TODAY in room V114 at 2:30. Classes are held in room V114 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

If you love to sing, the MHS Chorus wants you! An informational meeting for our new chorus club will be held after school TODAY in the chorus room, A123. All voices welcome!

There will be a SkillsUSA meeting TODAY during 2nd lunch in room V216. All advisers and last year’s chapter officers are required to attend.
