“F” Day

TODAY is an Early Release with a noon dismissal for students.

Attention MHS – the Carnaval Mardi Gras Dance is this Friday, featuring music and dancing in the Lobby, and games and activities in the Library hallway. Please see Senora Lepore or members of the Foreign Language Club for tickets – only $5 – for a fun-filled, magical evening.

Auditions for this year’s musical, PIPPIN, will take place in A123, TODAY through Thursday from 3-5pm. Please pick up an audition packet outside the Chorus Room (A123), where you can also sign up for an audition day and time.

Attention seniors: Do not forget to apply for scholarships in 1st floor guidance. New scholarships have come in, and every little bit helps!

AP exam registration will be taking place NOW through the 16th. Please bring your registration form and payment to the first floor guidance office before or after school. The cost is $93 or $53 for students on free and reduced lunch. Please see Ms. Jensen for more information.

Celebrate how precious the life you live really is by sending a carnation on Valentine ’s Day – your special way of telling someone that you’re glad they’re who they are. Carnations are $1 in the café all week, or in C323 Mr. Donlon’s room.

Auditions for Medford’s Talent Show are next Monday and Wednesday, the 13th and 15th, after school. Sign-up with Ms. Rigano in room C316!

The Student Council meeting has been changed to TOMORROW in Ms. Donlon’s room.

The junior class will be selling chocolate roses in the cafes during lunch for $2.

Be on the lookout during 1st lunch this week for a jar filled with tiny conversation hearts candies. Students will be able to take guesses for fifty cents as to how many hearts are inside the jar. If your guess is closest, you will win the entire jar of candy hearts and a $25 gift certificate to the Mustang Mall. All profits will go to benefit a worthy cause.

Attention seniors: If you are certain that you are interested in purchasing a yearbook, please notify Mr. Ambrose in C114 no later than this FRIDAY! No money is required at this time.
